EXEGETE

Terms of Service

Last updated July 4, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Exegete course, website, and related digital materials (collectively, the “Course”). By purchasing or accessing the Course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Course.

1. What you’re buying

Exegete is a one-time-purchase digital course: written lessons, prompt templates (the “Prompt Vault”), and supporting materials delivered through this website and unlocked by a license key. Purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Course and to use the prompts in your own ministry work.

2. Your license key

On purchase you receive a license key by email (delivered by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy). Your key may be activated on up to three (3) devices. Your license is for your individual use. You may not share, resell, sublicense, or publicly redistribute your key, the lessons, or the verbatim master prompts. You may, of course, use the prompts and techniques freely in your own sermon preparation and ministry.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) share your account access or license key; (b) republish or resell the Course content as your own product; (c) scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute the material; or (d) use the Course for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access for breach of these Terms.

4. The nature of AI tools

The Course teaches you to configure third-party AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini) for research assistance. Those tools are operated by their respective providers under their own terms; your use of them is subject to those terms and any associated subscription costs, which are not included in your purchase. AI systems can produce inaccurate or fabricated output. The Course explicitly teaches verification practices, but you are solely responsible for verifying any material before relying on it or using it publicly.

5. Intellectual property

All Course content — text, structure, prompts, and design — is owned by Exegete and protected by copyright. These Terms grant a license to use, not a transfer of ownership.

6. Disclaimers

The Course is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Course will meet every expectation or that the AI tools it references will perform in any particular way. Nothing in the Course is theological, legal, or professional advice; pastoral and doctrinal judgment remains yours.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exegete’s total liability arising from the Course is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Refunds

Purchases are covered by our 30-day guarantee, described on the Refund Policy page, which is incorporated into these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update the Course and these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when posted here. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
