AI for small groups3 tools, 4 real uses.
Small group leaders are usually volunteers with limited time. AI can help with the preparation around a group: a first draft of discussion questions from the message already preached, a short recap email, and a simple way to remember prayer requests.
The leader stays the one who knows the group. Edit every question for your people, keep prayer requests to first names, and never paste private details into a public AI tool.
Our rule: we list tools that help you study, organize and serve. We don't list sermon-writing generators.

Can AI write our small group curriculum?
We suggest using it only to draft questions from teaching your church has already given, then having leaders revise them. Curriculum and doctrine should come from your teachers.
How do we protect privacy?
Use first names only, leave out sensitive details, and keep prayer lists in your church system rather than in a public AI chat.
What is the simplest first step?
After Sunday, paste a short summary of the message into an assistant, ask for six questions from observation to application, and edit them.
