Build your own lexicon-linked Hebrew Bible from open sources

A Hebrew Bible scholar asked Claude to assemble a PDF of the Leningrad Codex with every word linked to its entry in the public-domain 1906 Brown-Driver-Briggs lexicon, plus clickable book and chapter navigation, and published his prompts. He says he hasn't fully tested it, so spot-check the links.

See how Jewish commentators read an Old Testament passage

Sefaria's free Library Assistant answers questions with cited, linked sources from its library of Tanakh, Talmud, commentaries and more, and is designed to point you to the texts and show multiple views rather than settle on one answer. Pastor use: find the rabbinic and medieval commentary on a passage, then read the cited sources yourself.

Let Logos research mode work through your library on a hard question

A preview of research mode is coming to Logos Study Assistant for subscribers: it plans how to research your question, works through your Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries and lexicons, follows new angles, and cites every claim so you can check the source. Logos says the finished version will later be a Logos Max feature.

Record your study thoughts and keep them next to your sources

Gemini Notebook's mobile audio recorder captures lectures or your own spoken thoughts and saves them alongside the notebook's sources, so you can chat with them, cite them and keep editing. Pastor use: talk through observations on a passage, or record a class you teach, with the class's consent, then ask cited questions across those notes and your commentaries. Keep pastoral-care conversations out.
